Since 01.02.2013 Avox Technology GmbH has released the new Spock for Samsung Mobile units. It's not only offering the known good sound and all the functions of the Kindle version but also has much more flexibility!
On top of the Line-In input connector where you can connect external audio sources like other mobile phones, the user is able to charge and play audio from his docked Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, Note or Note 2 without buying any additional accessories or further Docks!
This is made possible by a new turn- and exchangeable cradle. Spock comes with cradles for all 4 Samsung units free of charge!

The first Spock Speaker Docks for Kindle Fire will probably be
available around the 10th of November 2012!
You may pre-order the Spock for Kindle Fire at the Avox Shop already.
Other Spock units for the Samsung Galaxy series as well as Google Nexus 7 will be available later this year.
Avox therefore is the only serious contender offering a charging speaker dock with portability option for those Smartphone and Tablet units.

The new Avox INDIO color will probably be available from January 2012. It will offer new features like a colorful 3.5" TFT screen as well as the option to use it with a rechargeable Battery-Pack.
Furthermore it offers modern straight forward menu structure and shows offered content like Station Logos etc.
Now Avox is offering the USB-LAN adapters for connecting an Ethernet-Cable to INDIO mini 2 or INDIO TMA-1 for example. Get it for 14,90 € at the Avox-Shop!
The well-known New York Times did publish an article on the INDIO petite US-Version (the the Grace Digital "Allegro") and its usage along with the dar.fm service in their Thursday, 05-26-2011 issue.
